We take every precaution to protect your sensitive information.  When our web site order form asks you for data such as credit card numbers, expiration dates, etc., that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry - Secure Sockets Layer [SSL].

How secure is SSL?  Industry sources indicate that it is 'better than military-grade.'   They also say that it would take a hacker [using the most current technology] a million-million years to intercept and decode the encryption.

Phone, fax, and mail-in orders are strictly protected as well.  Your personal information is stored in locked containers.  Access is restricted to only those who have a need to know.  After a specified period of time, the information is destroyed.

We do have many repeat customers who request that we keep their information on file for an extended period of time.  This is acceptable as long as they [you] make the request.  We will not do so without your knowledge and consent.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive.  It contains information about you.  For instance, by setting a cookie on our web site, you will not have to provide your address details each time you order, and the shopping basket can remember products you selected from a previous visit.  Cookies are stored on your computer only.  We have no access to their content.

We use Internet Protocol [ IP ] addresses [your computer's address] to analyze trends, administer the web site, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses are in no way associated with your personally identifiable information.  In essence, your IP address tells us your general location, but not who you are, or anything about you.

We always appreciate the opportunity to post customer comments on our web site.  If we wish to use your comments, we will seek your permission first.  Your full name and address will not be posted.  Likewise, your e-mail address will not be disclosed unless you specifically sanction it.

We do not operate an optin/optout e-mail program.

We do not have telemarketing operations.
